Hello everyone!

At the end of every season, we make a gratitude post to recognize and thank people who have helped support us. This year is no exception.

First, we’d like to thank our customers. You all have a choice as to where you go out to eat and where you spend your money. Thank you for choosing us! It warms our hearts to see our regulars, a family playing bags while they wait for their orders, or when people compliment us on our food or service.

Second, we’d like to thank our employees. We could not do what we do, if we didn’t have a team of workers prepping for the day, cleaning, making ice cream, and even running the grill and fryers. We had one adult, Kris, who has worked for us all 5 seasons. Her experience and work ethic allowed us to get a few hours off per week and it was truly appreciated! All our other employees were the young adults of our community. Christopher, Emma, Elayna, Kadence, Kalvin, Kaylee, Kristen, Lucas, Maci, Matthew, Maddie, Madelyn, Marleigh, Micaiah, Natalie, Payton, Anakin, Avery, Becca, Brady, Dawson, Kaden, Maverick, and Nia, thank you for working with us! We are proud of you and know that you are assets to our community.

Third, we’d like to thank our friends and family. This year our sisters Su and Chris spent a few weeks working at the DT, which added to our efficiency and effectiveness during our busy times. My mom Carol watched our dog Nutmeg, so that we didn’t have to worry about her well-being. Steve and Laura, thank you for your words of support and being there for us. Thanks to our other sisters, nieces, cousins, friends, and followers for stopping in or sharing our posts. All of you nurtured us, grounded us, and cared for us.

Fourth, we’d like to thank Ken and Lara for buying the DT. After working with you two the past two weeks, we know the DT will be in good hands, and it will continue to bring joy to our community.

Lastly, it has been our privilege to serve our community. We are truly blessed and so very grateful to everyone who has contributed to the success of the Dairy Treat! Thank you all!
